Job summary

Onecom is seeking a proactive People Advisor to partner with managers across the business, handling a varied ER caseload from absence and performance to disciplinary and organisational change. You’ll bring practical, commercially minded advice and coach managers to make confident, fair decisions while upholding the Onecom Way.

In this role you’ll shape manager capability through guidance, training and communications, support onboarding and employee lifecycle activities, and work closely with

Qualifications

• Experience managing ER cases from initial advice to resolution.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
• Ability to coach managers and challenge at different levels.

Responsibilities

• Advise on absence, performance, disciplinary, grievance, and change as part of ER caseload.
• Provide clear, pragmatic and commercially balanced advice to managers.
• Coach managers through conversations, meetings, and documentation.
• Develop practical guidance, training and communications on people processes.
• Support onboarding, probation, flexible working, family leave, and leavers.
• Collaborate with People Partners and People Operations to enhance employee experience.
• Identify opportunities to improve policies, processes, tools and ways of working.
• Lead or participate in projects aligned with the People Plan.
