  • Location: Head Office, London and Ravenswood
  • Hybrid working: 2 days on-site as required (Stanmore, London & Ravenswood Village) and home working
Role Overview

Are you CIPD qualified and experienced in employee relations, including disciplinary, grievances, change management & consultation? Do you possess strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication? If so, this is a great opportunity for you to apply your expertise in a meaningful and rewarding role.

We are looking for an experienced People Advisor to support the organization with complex employee relations issues, change management, organizational restructures, and stakeholder engagement. You will provide expert advice, influence leadership, and guide managers through sensitive people-related challenges with professionalism.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support the People Partner with employee relations matters such as disciplinary, grievance, change management, restructures, and performance issues.
  • Advise line managers on employment law and related policies, maintaining confidentiality and effective communication.
  • Manage casework related to employee relations, including disciplinary hearings, grievances, and change processes; support development of managers’ skills in these areas.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with managers and colleagues.
  • Review and update legislation, policies, and best practices; communicate these across the organization.
  • Design and deliver development workshops on best practices.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with Data Protection Act.
  • Meet regularly with the People Partner to discuss concerns and seek guidance, especially on sensitive employee relations issues.
Essential Skills
  • Knowledge of employment law and guidance to managers
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills
  • Experience in producing and reviewing HR policies
  • CIPD Level 3 qualification or higher
  • Quick situational analysis and appropriate response
  • Effective communication skills at all levels
  • Cultural sensitivity and respect
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including empathy and tact
  • Customer-focused attitude with a positive approach
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
