Hours: 37 hrs

Salary: Up to £39,500 based on experience

Job Title: People Advisor

A position has arisen for a People Advisor to join our HR department at Southern Water. As a People Advisor, you will provide high-quality employee relations advice and guidance in line with SW policy, best practices, and employment legislation. You will work closely with line managers and key stakeholders to offer proactive and efficient advice, highlighting opportunities for improvement and coaching managers to enhance their capabilities.

Collaborating with the People Hub and the Talent and Development team, you will work to improve manager capabilities and support People Partners on complex employee relations cases such as restructures, TUPE, or potential dismissals.

Applicants should have a generalist HR background with a CIPD qualification or equivalent. You will act as the second line of defense for escalated HR queries and contribute to the continuous improvement of People systems and practices, including developing tools and templates for line managers to manage their teams effectively.

The role requires excellent attention to detail, strong planning skills, and the ability to build authentic, trust-based relationships at all levels of the organization.
