Job summary

Hymans Robertson is seeking a Technical Training Consultant within the TPA Technical Training Team. The role focuses on strengthening technical capability across Defined Benefit, Defined Contribution and CARE pensions, delivering training, mentoring colleagues, and updating materials to reflect regulatory changes.

You will liaise with Pension Admin teams and project teams to ensure high-quality training, using Aspire and SharePoint for learning delivery, with a mix of in-office and remote work.

Qualifications

• Experience in pensions administration with knowledge of DB/DC/CARE schemes.
• Ability to design and deliver technical training and mentoring.
• Strong understanding of pension legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across audiences.
• Proactive problem-solving and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver technical training for Pensions Admin teams.
• Share best-practice guidance and empower colleagues to develop skills.
• Identify training gaps and address with formal and informal mentoring.
• Prepare, update and deliver Pension Technical training for TPA and the wider firm.
• Assist with inductions and respond to legislative changes affecting training.
• Coordinate learning channels and Manage Aspire materials.
• Maintain auditable records for internal and external courses.
