Job summary

HRC Recruitment is seeking a Technical Training Consultant to join the Pensions Technical Consulting and Training Team in Edinburgh or Glasgow. The role offers hybrid working (two days in the office per week) and flexible hours between 7 am and 7 pm.

Salary is £30,000–£38,000 DOE, with benefits aligned to a dynamic pensions platform. The successful candidate will design and deliver pensions training, drive continuous improvement, and enable colleagues to develop their technical skills within the

Qualifications

• Strong experience in pensions administration with benefit calculations.
• Ability to explain complex technical topics clearly to varied audiences.
• Knowledge of current and future pension legislation and scheme rules.
• Problem-solving mindset with proactive attitude.
• Excellent time management and organisation for deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver pensions technical training across the team.
• Share best-practice guidance and mentor colleagues.
• Identify training gaps and address them with formal and informal training.
• Update and deliver training content to TPA and wider firm, including induction.
• Coordinate and manage technical courses, both internal and external.
• Maintain auditable records for training and manage learning channels in Aspire.
