Job summary

Aptia UK Limited is seeking a Senior Pensions Trainer to raise technical capability within our UK Pensions Administration teams. You will translate complex pensions legislation and regulatory requirements into engaging learning experiences for colleagues across the business.

We’re looking for a senior pensions professional with deep Defined Benefit expertise, knowledge of Defined Contribution, and a passion for coaching others. CPC/ADRP desirable; experience with eLearning platforms is a plus.

Qualifications

• Significant experience within UK pensions administration.
• Deep Defined Benefit pensions expertise including retirement, transfers, death benefits.
• Solid understanding of Defined Contribution pensions administration.
• Excellent knowledge of UK pensions legislation, regulatory requirements and industry developments.
• Experience interpreting guidance from The Pensions Regulator (TPR) and HMRC.
• Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and practically.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Passion for coaching, mentoring and helping others succeed.
• Desirable CPC and/or ADRP qualification.
• Experience supporting instructional design or eLearning projects.
• Exposure to learning platforms such as Degreed or Workday Learning.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver technical pensions training programmes for both new and existing employees.
• Create engaging learning content, workshops, case studies and knowledge resources that simplify complex pensions concepts.
• Act as a trusted subject matter expert, providing guidance on pensions legislation, regulatory requirements and administration processes.
• Support the development of eLearning content and digital learning solutions.
• Deliver training on legislative, regulatory and industry changes impacting pension administration.
• Prepare employees for professional pensions qualifications, including CPC and APE.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical experts to ensure learning solutions remain accurate, relevant and aligned to operational needs.
