Job summary

IRIS Software Group is seeking an experienced Client Pension Team Lead to join our Managed Services division and help deliver LGPS pension administration to our clients. Lead a team, manage workloads, monitor KPIs and SLAs, coach colleagues, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining accuracy and up-to-date knowledge of pension legislation.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' pension administration experience, ideally in an Education environment.
• Strong knowledge of pension legislation and LGPS advantageous.
• Experience leading, coaching or mentoring colleagues.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong organisational and planning capability.
• Good working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook.
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of pension administration professionals.
• Manage departmental KPIs, productivity measures and service level agreements.
• Schedule and allocate workloads to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Monitor quality standards and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Act as the first point of escalation for client concerns and operational issues.
• Produce management reporting and operational performance insights.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and development of new team members.
• Ensure accurate and timely pension administration processing.
• Maintain strong understanding of pension legislation and industry developments.
• Support LGPS end-year activities and client service meetings.
