Job summary

IRIS Software Group, a leading UK pension administration provider, is seeking an experienced Client Pension Team Lead to join our Managed Services division. You will lead a team delivering LGPS administration, ensuring service levels, quality standards and client expectations are met.

Working closely with the Client Pension Manager, you will oversee performance, support new client implementations, plan workloads and drive continuous improvement across the function.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' pension administration experience.
• Knowledge of pension legislation; LGPS advantageous.
• Experience leading or mentoring colleagues.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong organisational and planning capability.
• Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Proactive and solutions-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of pension administration professionals.
• Manage departmental KPIs, productivity measures and SLAs.
• Schedule and allocate workloads for efficient service delivery.
• Monitor quality and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Act as first escalation point for client concerns.
• Produce management reporting and operational insights.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and development of new team members.
• Ensure accurate and timely LGPS pension processing.
• Maintain understanding of pension legislation and industry developments.
• Support LGPS end-year activities and client service meetings.
