XPS Group in Reading is seeking a proactive Assistant Post-Transaction Lead to join the Risk Settlement team. You will support post-transaction activities after buy-ins and wind-ups, coordinating with trustees and corporates to ensure accurate documentation and governance.

The role combines project management with client-facing duties, offering training, development, and a rewarding career in a growing pensions advisory business.

• Experience of working with Defined Benefit Pension.
• It proficiency in MS Office and strong documentation skills.
• Excellent organisational and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Help Trustees and Corporate clients understand the risks within pension schemes.
• Support Post-Transaction Project Leads after a buy-in through to wind-up.
• Provide tailored advice on funding and member options.
• Analyse new and changing legislation, regulation and guidance for schemes.
• Support governance of the pension scheme for members' benefit.
• Advise corporates on pension elements of statutory accounts.
• Provide solutions to GMP Rectification & Equalisation.
• Set up and maintain project documentation (PID, Plans, Highlight Reports, Logs).
• Document actions, facilitate meetings and minutes.
• Manage workstreams within large projects and own smaller ones.
• Produce management reporting.
• Undertake other activities as needed within capabilities.
