Job summary

Fintelligent is seeking a Customer Service Advisor to handle pension enquiries by phone, guiding customers through initial steps and progress updates. The role focuses on conversations, relationship-building and proactive follow-up, with specialist training to develop pensions knowledge and long-term career pathways.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, contact centres or caller-facing roles.
• Confident telephone manner with customers and clear communication.
• Proactive in following up enquiries and obtaining information.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Interest in pensions and financial services.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls and make outbound follow-up calls relating to pension enquiries and transfers.
• Explain next steps clearly and direct technical questions to the appropriate team.
• Follow up with customers to obtain outstanding agreements, signatures and information.
• Contact pension providers and internal teams to chase progress and resolve queries.
• Keep customers informed throughout the process with a friendly, reassuring service.
• Take ownership of follow-ups to ensure actions are completed promptly and records kept up to date.
