Job summary

People's Pension is seeking a dedicated Customer Services representative to join our Claims Team in a hybrid role across the Not-for-Profit sector in the UK. You will handle a range of customer queries, provide clear, friendly support, and help customers navigate their pension journey with confidence.

Working with compliance as a priority, you will also assist colleagues, maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements, and contribute to the department's objectives.

Qualifications

• GCSE level or equivalent education required.
• Experience in administration/customer service.
• Numerate with good attention to detail.
• Able to explain detailed information in simple terms.
• Self-motivated, disciplined and organised.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
• Willingness to learn pension basics.

Responsibilities

• Handle a broad range of customer queries across products and processes with professional service.
• Use active listening and clear written communication to understand customer needs.
• Support colleagues to resolve queries and maintain compliance and quality standards.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal/external customers and third parties.
• Keep up-to-date with regulatory requirements (Automatic Enrolment, FCA, HMRC, DPA).
• Handle complaints and escalate when necessary; share learning across the team.
• Create and review process manuals to ensure accuracy.
