Job summary

Leapfrog Limited is seeking a Pensions Administrator who is organised and detail-focused. You will support clients with day-to-day pension administration and build your technical knowledge through hands-on training and professional development.

The role emphasizes accuracy, timely service to clients and intermediaries, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining records and complying with scheme rules and legislation.

Qualifications

  • Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent.
  • Experience in administration or financial services is advantageous.
  • Pensions administration experience welcomed but not essential.
  • Excellent communication, attention to detail, numeracy and IT skills are important.

Responsibilities

  • Assist day-to-day administration of pension and annuity arrangements.
  • Provide timely and professional service to clients and intermediaries.
  • Process client transactions accurately.
  • Maintain statutory and client records.
  • Process new business applications, death cases and closures.
  • Process internal and external payments and receipts.
  • Ensure work complies with scheme rules, procedures and relevant legislation.
  • Support the appointment of asset managers, auditors, custodians and other third parties.
  • Maintain internal systems and prepare relevant minutes.
  • Raise issues proactively with senior colleagues.
  • Respond to Compliance Monitoring and periodic review queries.
  • Assist with fee collection and outstanding debtor positions.
  • Collate and review relevant financial information.
  • Support reviews of appointed investment and financial advisers.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will ideally be educated to A-Level standard or equivalent and have a genuine interest in developing a career within pensions. Relevant administration or financial services experience would be advantageous, with previous pensions administration experience particularly welcomed but not essential. You'll have excellent communication and attention to detail, good numeracy and computer skills and the ability to multitask and respond promptly to client and intermediary requests. A positive, collaborative approach and a desire to undertake professional studies are also important.
