Job summary

Leapfrog Limited is seeking a Senior Administrator with pensions experience to own a portfolio of clients and deliver day-to-day administration. You'll support junior colleagues and work closely with Compliance and other internal teams to ensure accurate, timely service.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years' relevant experience with responsibility for managing a portfolio of clients.
  • Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent and pursuing a relevant professional certificate.
  • Experience with multi-member pension schemes and EFURBS is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, attention to detail, numeracy and IT skills; ability to manage multiple requests to deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day administration of an individual portfolio of pension and annuity clients.
  • Provide high-quality and timely service to clients and professional intermediaries.
  • Process client transactions, new business applications, death cases and closures.
  • Process internal and external payments and receipts.
  • Maintain accurate statutory and client records.
  • Ensure administration complies with relevant scheme rules, procedures and legislation.
  • Coordinate appointment of asset managers, auditors, custodians and other third parties.
  • Prepare minutes and maintain relevant systems and records.
  • Support junior colleagues with queries and problem-solving.
  • Respond to Compliance Monitoring and periodic review queries.
  • Liaise with Compliance and other internal teams.
  • Monitor fee collection and outstanding debtor positions.
  • Collate and review relevant financial information.
  • Review ongoing appropriateness of appointed third parties.

Job description

Bring your pensions experience to a varied Senior Administrator role where you'll have genuine ownership of client relationships and day-to-day delivery. Alongside managing your own portfolio, you'll support junior colleagues and work closely with Compliance and other internal teams. It's a strong progression opportunity for someone keen to continue developing technically.

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years' relevant experience and previous responsibility for managing their own portfolio of clients. You'll ideally be educated to A-Level standard or equivalent and hold, or be working towards, a relevant professional certificate. Previous experience with multi-member pension schemes and EFURBS would be particularly advantageous. You'll have excellent communication and attention to detail, strong numeracy and IT skills and the ability to manage multiple client and intermediary requests while working to deadlines with minimal supervision.
