Job summary

XPS Pensions Group in Leeds is seeking an Administration Manager to lead the pensions administration team, ensuring high-quality service delivery, client relationships, and effective governance. You will drive profitability and sustainability for an assigned client portfolio while managing day-to-day line supervision.

The role requires expert knowledge of Defined Benefit schemes, strong management skills, and the ability to lead projects and billing processes.

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of pensions administration activities.
• Experience with Defined Benefit schemes (pensions) including leavers, retirements, deaths, transfers, monthly processing and inflation updates.
• Strong people management, mentoring and performance review skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day management of client relationships with trustees and corporate clients, and participate in trustee meetings where applicable.
• Lead admin billing, ensuring time recording and invoicing are accurate and timely.
• Monitor service delivery quality, governance tracking and process improvements across the team.
• Manage workflow, prioritise workload, and ensure SLAs are met.
• Contribute to governance, strategy, and the broader business through senior management reporting.
