Job summary

XPS Group in Leeds is seeking an Administration Manager for Defined Benefits to lead pensions administration across client portfolios in a hybrid working environment. The role focuses on governance, project delivery and high-quality client liaison.

You will oversee billing, performance metrics, staff development and process improvements, while collaborating with Deputy Managers and Senior Management to drive service excellence and compliance.

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of pensions administration across schemes.
• Supervisory/leadership experience in pensions or related.
• Thorough knowledge of pensions legislation updates and compliance.
• Strong IT skills with MS Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint.
• Proven project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee pensions administration services for assigned client portfolio.
• Manage day-to-day client relationships with trustees and corporate clients.
• Lead billing, time recording and invoicing processes.
• Drive governance tracking measures and service level adherence.
• Lead improvement initiatives and internal audits within the team.
• Mentor and develop pensions administration staff and potential successors.
