Job summary

Legal & General is seeking a Transitions Manager for Pension Risk Transfer with strong DB pensions knowledge. You will own scheme-specific transition plans, manage end-to-end activities and work with trustees, advisers and administrators to verify data and benefits.

The role is hybrid, combining office and home working to support flexible balance and delivery. You should bring a pension qualification (CII/PMI) or equivalent experience, plus robust project planning and communication skills to

Qualifications

• Strong project planning, prioritisation and delivery skills.
• Clear, confident communication with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• PRINCE2 Practitioner or equivalent project management experience would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop scheme-specific transition plans for PRT transactions.
• Manage end-to-end transition activity across timelines, risks and milestones.
• Collaborate with trustees, advisers, brokers and administrators on data and benefit verification.
• Support PRT business development activity, including tenders and site visits.
• Lead internal workstreams and collaborate with teams to deliver successful transitions.
• Maintain transition MI and provide updates to management.
• Conduct post-transition reviews and close out schemes.
• Share technical knowledge to grow transition capability.
