Job summary

Referment is assisting a UK pensions analytics and actuarial consultancy with experienced practitioners guiding trustees and sponsors through buy-in, buy-out and wind-up transitions. The role entails hands-on project management, stakeholder coordination and proactive problem solving to ensure smooth end-to-end processes.

You will liaise with clients, advisers and insurers, support wind-up timelines, and contribute to the team’s strategy and business development.

Qualifications

• Experience in a pensions consulting environment or with a bulk annuity provider.
• Proven experience with insurer post-transaction processes and pension scheme wind-ups.
• Strong UK pensions technical knowledge and understanding of wind-up requirements.
• Excellent written and oral communication, including client presentations.

Responsibilities

• Assist trustees and sponsors through buy-in to wind-up transitions.
• Project-manage processes to keep wind-up timelines on track and mitigate issues.
• Build relationships with clients, advisers, insurers and trustees.
• Contribute to business development and tender activities.
