Lane Clark & Peacock (LCP) in London is seeking an experienced Post Transaction Consultant to join its Pension Risk Transfer team. You will help trustees and sponsors navigate buy-in, buy-out and wind-up processes, coordinating with insurer partners and advisers.

The role emphasizes project management, client relationship building and delivering practical de-risking solutions within a flexible hybrid working environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a pensions consulting environment or with a bulk annuity provider.
• Strong knowledge of insurer post-transaction processes and wind-ups.
• Excellent UK pensions technical knowledge and regulatory understanding around wind-ups.
• Proven ability to develop detailed project plans and drive forward completion of tasks against timescales.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage stakeholders including advisers, insurers and sponsoring employers.
• Experience leading and delivering client presentations at meetings.
• Proactive and solutions-driven approach with a focus on client satisfaction.
• Willingness to mentor less experienced team members.

Responsibilities

• Support schemes through the move from buy-in to buy-out and wind-up.
• Build relationships with clients, advisers and insurers, and actively manage the project to ensure timely progress and pragmatic solutions.
• Apply project management skills and collaborative approach to move schemes to wind-up within desired timescales.
• Contribute to the wider team strategy and participate in networking events and tenders.
