Overview

At Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., we are seeking two Pension Associates to join our growing, uber successful team, to be based in either Glasgow or Edinburgh. This opportunity is outstanding because it offers the chance to work in a client management and support-type role relating to corporate pension plans.

You will be part of a dynamic team that strives to exceed client expectations and deliver magnificent service.

How you'll make an impact
  • Support new pension implementations in collaboration with colleagues that are working in new business coordinator and client owner positions in the team.
  • Anticipate and respond to client needs with a timely and flexible approach to ensure outstanding service delivery.
  • Maintain up-to-date technical pensions knowledge to support clients within designated areas of activity.
  • Provide proactive support to Consultants and Management in all aspects of their work with clients.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Assist with client governance meetings and collaborate closely with the client owner and administration teams.
  • Provide support to clients and scheme members via phone or in person for new enquiries and information requests.
  • Prepare and finalise client reports and PowerPoint presentations in conjunction with the client owner.
  • Support campaign management and meeting preparation, including collaborating closely with providers, arranging meetings, and preparing agendas.
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of pension provider systems and portals.
  • Proactively identify and progress new business opportunities with clients.
  • Maintain a diary management system for efficient oversight and intra-team workflow.
  • Ensure all client service levels are met..
  • Manage action points from meetings and matters arising.
About you

We are looking for a qualified candidate with a strong technical knowledge of DC Pensions, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills, organisational skills and the ability to treat customers fairly and maintain up-to-date industry, sector, and technical knowledge to be successful within this role.

Candidates will ideally be studying towards or have acquired relevant professional qualifications and can showcase strong customer service and relationship-building skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
