Job summary

Wiltshire Council is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to support children and young people aged 0-18 with complex needs. You will assess needs, plan interventions, and collaborate with families, health professionals and housing providers to enable independence and better daily living.

You will handle a varied caseload, contribute to reviews and multidisciplinary meetings, and advise on equipment, adaptations and housing considerations to improve outcomes in home and community settings.

Qualifications

• Qualified Occupational Therapist registered to practice in the UK.
• Experience with children and young people with complex needs.
• Excellent assessment, communication, and partnership-working skills.

Responsibilities

• Undertake holistic assessments and develop tailored intervention plans.
• Advise on major home adaptations and equipment needs.
• Manage a varied caseload and contribute to reports and case conferences.
