About the School

Duties as a PE Teacher:
  1. Plan and deliver a broad and balanced PE curriculum, covering a range of sports and physical activities.
  2. Promote health, fitness, and teamwork through engaging lessons.
  3. Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  4. Organise and lead extracurricular sports clubs, teams, and competitions.
  5. Ensure all students are included and challenged appropriately.
  6. Maintain high standards of behaviour, motivation, and participation in lessons.
  7. Work collaboratively with colleagues to support whole-school sports events and initiatives.
Ideal PE Teacher:
  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  2. A degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related subject.
  3. Experience teaching PE at Key Stage 3/4/5.
  4. A passion for sport, fitness, and student development.
  5. Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills.
  6. Knowledge of safeguarding and health & safety procedures in PE.
