Citadel Source’s client is seeking a commercially-minded Chief Financial Officer to lead and scale the finance function within a PE-backed, high-growth environment. Reporting to the CEO and working with the Board and investors, the CFO will shape strategy, drive performance and manage financial governance.

The role covers strategic leadership, commercial finance, acquisitions, and technology-driven transformation, with hybrid working arrangements and significant exposure to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• The candidate will be a commercially-minded qualified accountant with experience in high-growth, PE-backed, entrepreneurial, or fast-paced settings.
• Experience in PE-backed, acquisitive or multi-site environments is valuable.
• Ability to combine commercial judgement with operational curiosity and to work beyond traditional finance boundaries.
• Experience supporting acquisitions, integrating businesses, developing finance functions, or implementing systems and process improvements is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Act as trusted strategic advisor to CEO, Board and private equity investors.
• Lead the finance function and build a high-performing team.
• Support delivery of the strategic plan and PE value creation initiatives.
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and cash management for sustainable growth.
• Provide insightful reporting to Board, shareholders and investors.
• Monitor KPIs and provide challenge and recommendations.
• Manage lender, banking and funding relationships and capital structure.
• Lead M&A activity from evaluation to integration and post-acquisition performance monitoring.
• Strengthen financial systems, controls, reporting and governance as the business scales.
• Enhance balance sheet visibility, cash flow forecasting and working capital management.
