Job summary

Outwood Academy Ormesby in Middlesbrough is seeking a Personal Development Centre Coordinator to lead a critical provision that reduces suspensions, raises aspirations and reintegrates students into the main curriculum.

You will manage the Personal Development Centre, plan and deliver interventions, monitor impact, and work with the Inclusion Team to tailor timetables and provide mentoring for students returning to lessons.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a school environment.
• Knowledge of issues affecting students and young people.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage deadlines under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Personal Development Centre (PDC) and plan, organise, and deliver opportunities promoting positive discipline and raising aspirations.
• Monitor and adapt student timetables; collaborate with the Inclusion Team on intervention strategies.
• Conduct one-to-one or small group sessions and mentor students reintegrating into lessons.
