Job summary

Outwood Grange Academies Trust is seeking a motivated PLC Coordinator to lead the Personalised Learning Centre, design and deliver alternative courses, and tailor interventions to specific student cohorts.

You will collaborate with external services, set SMART targets, run testing, and coach pupils toward further education, apprenticeships, or employment, while building supportive mentoring relationships. The role emphasizes safeguarding, inclusion, and proactive partnership with families.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a school environment with vulnerable pupils.
• Ability to communicate with diverse audiences.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Experience using ICT tools for learning and assessment.
• Ability to develop engaging programmes of work.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Personalised Learning Centre (PLC) management.
• Identify and deliver alternative courses and interventions.
• Coordinate multi-agency liaison with social and youth services.
• Develop SMART action plans to remove barriers to learning.
• Support pupils toward further education, apprenticeships, or employment.
