Job summary

Specialist Passenger Solutions (SPS) is hiring an experienced Technician to service a diverse PCV fleet and support safety and performance standards at our Ipswich operation.

You will assist with MOT preparation, inspections, and diagnostics, working within a cross-functional team across engineering and operations to meet peak vehicle demand and ensure reliable passenger transport services. This role requires BPSS/DBS clearance and a flexible shift pattern.

Qualifications

• Minimum NVQ Level 3 or C&G equivalent or above in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (PCV preferred).
• At least two years relevant, recent, and demonstrable post training experience in heavy vehicle engineering, preferably PCV.
• The ability to apply consistently high standards of technical judgement.
• A pragmatic and proactive, can-do attitude to short notice workshop deadlines.
• A flexible approach to working hours as we work towards becoming a 24/7 business.
• Possession of a full driving licence (category D desirable).

Specialist Passenger Solutions provides essential bus services transporting thousands of workers to and from Sizewell C. By joining our technician team, you will work across a variety of vehicle types, including electric, hydrogen and diesel vehicles, using cutting-edge diagnostic technology.

• Good electrical and diagnostic ability
• Possession of IRTEC licence (Inspection / Service Maintenance Technician)
