Job summary

Arriva in Bangor is seeking a dedicated PCV Bus Driver to connect communities and keep people moving. You will operate routes from our Bangor depot, delivering reliable service to schools, commuters and shoppers, while upholding Arriva's customer-focused standards.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid PCV licence.
• At least 12 months of driving experience.
• No more than 6 points on your licence.

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

As a Bus Driver, you’ll become familiar with the faces on your routes, build relationships, and brighten someone’s day. What We Offer:

• Competitive Pay: Monday to Saturday: £13.45/hr (rising to £15.80 after 3 weeks)
• Competitive Pay: Sunday: £22.00/hr
• Competitive Pay: Bank Holidays: £22.50/hr
• Competitive Pay: Overtime: Flat rate

Hours of Work:

• 5 out of 7 rotating shift patterns, planned up to 6-8 weeks in advance
• Mornings starting from 04:00, Afternoons starting from 12:00, Evenings from 18:00
• Overtime available based on request/availability
• We cannot offer fixed early, afternoon, or evening shifts separately

What We Need From You:

• MUST have a valid PCV Licence – This is a non-negotiable requirement (If you don’t have a PCV licence yet, apply for our Trainee role, and we’ll provide paid training to help you get qualified!)
