Job summary

Chase Medical is seeking a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to coach staff, develop PBS plans, and analyse behavioural data across multiple services in the London area. The role involves regular travel, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring high-quality, person-centred support.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of two years’ PBS experience, a postgraduate qualification in PBS or ABA, and a drive to improve outcomes for individuals with complex needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' experience as a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
• Experience supporting individuals with autism, learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities and behaviours of concern.
• Experience developing, reviewing, and implementing PBS plans.
• Knowledge of restrictive practice reduction and trauma-informed approaches.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards and good practice guidance.

Responsibilities

• Provide coaching and support to staff on PBS principles and best practice.
• Review, develop, and implement PBS plans.
• Conduct behavioural assessments, collect data, and analyse outcomes.
• Support teams to respond positively to behaviours of concern.
• Promote proactive strategies and restraint reduction approaches.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to regulatory compliance.
