Job summary

Spectra Care LTD is recruiting a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to improve the well-being of individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and related needs in Newham and Ilford. You will deliver PBS plans, train staff, and collaborate with families.

The role requires an MSc in Applied Behavior Analysis or Positive Behavior Support with UK-SBA or BCBA accreditation, a full UK driving licence, and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• MSc in Applied Behavior Analysis or Positive Behavior Support with UK SBA or BCBA accreditation (essential).
• PBs, psychology, education, or health & social care experience valued.
• Full UK driving licence and access to vehicle optional requirement.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional behaviour assessments to understand behaviours of concern.
• Develop, implement and monitor PBSPs tailored to individual needs.
• Lead reduction and monitoring of restrictive practices per RRN principles.
• Design data collection systems to evaluate interventions.
• Provide coaching and guidance to staff on PBS practices.
• Collaborate with families, professionals and internal teams.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to audits and evaluations.
• Uphold safeguarding and data protection standards.
