Job summary

Dignus Group is seeking a PBS Coordinator to embed Positive Behaviour Support across our services, working with PBS Practitioner and PBS Lead. You’ll help improve lives by supporting person-centred approaches, reviewing PBS plans, and coaching teams in proactive behaviours.

The role involves mobile work across Dignus services in the UK, with mentoring and development pathways toward PBS Practitioner. A full UK driving license is essential and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs or complex behaviours.
• Strong understanding of person-centred care and positive outcomes.
• Experience in residential care, supported living or specialist services.
• Good safeguarding knowledge including the Mental Capacity Act.
• Understanding of Positive Behaviour Support principles.
• Experience maintaining accurate records and support documentation.
• Ability to coach, encourage and influence others.
• Good organisational, IT and data recording skills.
• Professional, empathetic, solution-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently across multiple services.

Responsibilities

• Support the embedding of Positive Behaviour Support across services.
• Assist with development, review and monitoring of PBS plans.
• Provide on-the-job coaching to staff and teams.
• Support PBS audits, observations and quality monitoring activities.
• Contribute to service reviews and quality-of-life planning.
• Produce summary reports and escalate risks when needed.
