Job summary

Dignus Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to deliver specialist PBS across services, working with individuals, families and multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive outcomes and improved quality of life.

This mobile role requires travel across sites, conducting assessments, developing PBS plans, coaching staff and delivering training to frontline teams, with a focus on least restrictive practices.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering PBS and Functional Behaviour Assessments.
• Experience coaching operational teams.
• Experience in social care, supported living or residential services.
• Driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Ability to travel across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist PBS across Dignus services and work with individuals, families and multidisciplinary professionals.
• Conduct FBAs, behavioural observations and assessments.
• Develop high-quality, person-centred PBS plans and review their effectiveness.
• Coach managers and frontline colleagues in applying PBS principles.
• Deliver PBS training, workshops and refresher sessions.
• Monitor PBS plan implementation and analyse outcome measures.
• Champion least restrictive approaches and reduce restrictive practices.
• Produce assessment reports and PBS recommendations.
