Job summary

RECfinancial are recruiting on behalf of a growing business in the Loughborough area to appoint an experienced Payroller to join their finance team on a temporary basis with a real possibility of going permanent. The role is based on site with easy access from surrounding towns.

You'll take ownership of payroll processes, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time, with weekly and monthly payrolls and a focus on compliance, accuracy and customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience with payroll processing in a busy environment.
• Proficient in payroll software and advanced Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly and monthly payrolls accurately to deadlines.
• Handle starters, leavers, pensions and statutory payments.
• Calculate overtime, bonuses, holiday pay and deductions.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and respond to queries.
• Prepare payroll reports and perform reconciliations.
• Support absence management processes.
• Ensure payroll compliance with legislation and policies.

RECfinancial are recruiting on behalf of a growing and well established business in the Loughborough area who re looking to appoint an experienced Payroller to join their busy finance team, on a Temporary basis with a real possibility of the role going Permanent.

Due to the companies location it is accessible from Coalville, Glenfield, Thurmaston, and of course Central Leicester. As well as parts of Derby, Nottingham and Melton Mowbray.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised payroll professional who enjoys working in a fast paced environment where accuracy, attention to detail and exceptional service are highly valued. You'll take ownership of payroll processes, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.

The Role

• Processing weekly and monthly payrolls accurately and within agreed deadlines.
• Managing payroll administration including starters, leavers, pensions and statutory payments.
• Calculating overtime, bonuses, holiday pay and other payroll deductions.
• Maintaining accurate employee payroll records and resolving payroll related queries.
• Preparing payroll reports and carrying out payroll reconciliations.
• Supporting absence management processes and procedures.
• Ensuring payroll compliance with current legislation and company policies.

About You

• Previous payroll experience gained within a busy environment.
• Experience using payroll software together with strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and the confidence to deal with payroll queries professionally.
• A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
