Who are you?
You’re a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist, passionate about delivering seamless payroll processes for new customers.
You thrive in a structured, fast-paced environment; You will be responsible for the management and processing of a portfolio of customers; ensuring payroll, pension and HMRC obligations are met, as well as supporting employees with questions related to their pay, pensions, savings and charitable giving.

What do we need for this role?
Payroll Processing and Compliance
- Manage and process a portfolio of payrolls, ensuring timely and accurate payroll runs.
- Ensure all payroll activities comply with current payroll and pension legislation as well as HMRC obligations.
- Conduct monthly payroll and pension reconciliations to verify data integrity and accuracy.
- Maintain detailed process documentation and perform regular reviews to ensure compliance and clarity.
Client and Employee Support
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, providing support via email and phone.
- Offer direct support to employees regarding pay, pensions, savings, and charitable contributions.
- Participate in customer service reviews to assess satisfaction and address any service concerns.
Compliance & Operational Support
- Ensure accurate HMRC payments, pension scheme payments, and parallel payroll runs.
- Identify system improvements, raise technical cases, and contribute to process enhancements.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of product features based on client feedback and payroll trends.

- Project Management – You manage multiple payrolls simultaneously, keeping schedules on track and processed on time.
- Problem Solving – You proactively troubleshoot payroll discrepancies and streamline processes.
- Communication – You effectively guide customers through payroll processes and compliance requirements.

- Salary between £25k - £35k - depending on experience
