Job summary

Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust is seeking a Payroll Officer/Payroll Services Advisor to join the Payroll Services team. The role supports payroll for around 45,000 employees across the Black Country and beyond, handling day-to-day processing and variations to pay.

Based at New Cross Hospital, the post is a fixed-term 12-month contract to cover maternity leave. The successful candidate will have strong IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with ESR/Oracle is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience with payroll processing and statutory compliance is essential.
• Proficient IT skills with Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Experience with Oracle or ESR is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Process day-to-day payroll for a designated portfolio including variations to pay.
• Input data and calculate payroll ensuring accuracy of pay for staff.
• Provide an excellent payroll service to clients across the Black Country and beyond.
