Job summary

Ashley Kate HR & Finance on behalf of our client is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join a fixed-term project in Solihull on hybrid working. This role supports the rollout of Payroll Benefits in Kind (PBIK) with payroll and project stakeholders.

You will assist with data analysis, testing, and governance documentation while ensuring accuracy and adherence to UK payroll legislation, reporting to the project team.

Qualifications

• Experience in payroll administration.
• Knowledge of UK payroll legislation.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Experience using SAP ECC Payroll.

Responsibilities

• Support payroll project workshops, meetings, and stakeholder discussions.
• Document business requirements, process changes, actions, and key decisions.
• Assist with payroll data analysis, validation, and reconciliations.
• Support System Integration Testing (SIT), Parallel Runs, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Log, monitor, and track testing defects through to resolution.
• Validate payroll calculations and outputs to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Produce project reports, governance documentation, and progress updates.
• Support training materials, communications, and business readiness activities.
• Assist with the successful transition of project deliverables into BAU processes.
• Work collaboratively with payroll, HR, and project stakeholders throughout the implementation.
