Job summary

RECfinancial are working with an ambitious professional services organisation seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join their established payroll team.

This role is commutable from Hinckley, Nuneaton, Coventry, Leamington Spa and more, with hybrid working options and strong career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• End-to-end payroll processing experience.
• Strong knowledge of PAYE, NI, pensions and statutory payments.
• Confident with client and stakeholder communication.
• Highly organised with attention to detail.
• Experience resolving payroll queries.

Responsibilities

• Manage payrolls from start to finish across weekly, fortnightly and monthly cycles.
• Process pensions, statutory payments, benefits and year-end payroll activities.
• Handle HMRC registrations, PAYE administration and payroll compliance matters.
• Support a portfolio of clients and provide expert payroll guidance.
• Investigate payroll discrepancies and resolve complex payroll queries.
• Develop strong working relationships with clients and their employees.
• Mentor junior team members and support payroll operations.

Due to the location of the firm's office this role is commutable from Hinckley, Nuneaton, Coventry, Leamington Spa and more.

Ideal Candidate:

• Previous payroll experience with end-to-end processing responsibility
• Strong knowledge of PAYE, NI, pensions and statutory payments
• Confident dealing directly with clients and stakeholders
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Experience resolving complex payroll queries
• Payroll qualification desirable but not essential

Package:

• Salary up £38,000 annual bonus
• Permanent full-time position
