Job summary

RECfinancial is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our payroll team. The role covers end-to-end payroll processing for multiple clients, with a focus on accuracy and client service in a fast-paced environment.

We offer hybrid working, study support for CIPP qualification, and a clear path for career progression within a modern professional services firm. Salary up to £38,000 with a performance bonus and extensive benefits.

Qualifications

• End-to-end payroll processing experience.
• Strong knowledge of PAYE, NI, pensions and statutory payments.
• Confident dealing with clients and stakeholders.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience resolving complex payroll queries.
• Payroll qualification desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage payrolls from start to finish across weekly, fortnightly and monthly cycles.
• Process pensions, statutory payments and year-end activities.
• Handle HMRC registrations, PAYE administration and payroll compliance.
• Support a portfolio of clients with expert payroll guidance.
• Investigate payroll discrepancies and resolve queries.
• Develop strong client relationships and mentor junior staff.

Due to the location of the firm's office this role is commutable from Hinckley, Nuneaton, Coventry, Leamington Spa and more.
