Job summary

Reed in Birmingham seeks a Payroll Migration Specialist to join on a fixed-term, full-time basis. You will lead the migration of multiple monthly payrolls to Sage 50 Payroll, ensuring data cleansing, reconciliation and accurate transfer.

The successful candidate will have at least 3 years of end-to-end payroll experience, strong Excel skills and payroll data migration knowledge, including Auto Enrolment and RTI, and the ability to train colleagues through the change.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of end-to-end payroll experience, ideally in high-volume environments.
• Strong practical experience with Sage 50 Payroll.
• Experience with payroll implementation and/or payroll data migration.
• Good knowledge of UK payroll legislation (Auto Enrolment and RTI).
• Proficient in Excel and data validation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver payroll migrations across multiple locations.
• Cleanse, reconcile and validate payroll data before migration.
• Configure payrolls in Sage 50 Payroll with pay elements and data.
• Provide training and support to employees during migration.
• Review payroll processes to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Resolve migration queries and meet project deadlines.
• Maintain compliance with UK payroll legislation and best practices.
