Job summary

Minster Cleaning is seeking a Payroll Specialist to support the migration of branch-based payrolls to Sage 50 Payroll. The role is fixed-term, full-time and based in Birmingham, with occasional on-site visits to branches.

You will plan, cleanse and validate data, configure pay elements, provide training and respond to queries while ensuring UK payroll compliance, including AE and RTI. Previous Sage 50 Payroll experience and high-volume payroll skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in end-to-end payroll, high-volume environment.
• Experience with data migration and full payroll implementation.
• Knowledge of UK payroll regulations AE and RTI.
• Experience with Sage 50 Payroll is essential.
• Strong Excel skills including Pivot Tables and lookups.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver payroll migration projects for branches.
• Cleansing, reconciliation and validation of payroll data before migration.
• Configure pay elements and data for new payroll systems.
• Provide training and support to branch employees.
• Resolve queries and ensure deadlines are met.
• Review payroll processes and recommend improvements.
• Maintain knowledge of UK payroll legislation and best practices.
