Job summary

Minster Cleaning is seeking an experienced payroll professional to join our finance team on a fixed-term contract. You will support the migration of branch-based monthly payrolls from Access Select Pay to Sage 50 Payroll, reporting to the Head of Finance.

The successful candidate will have at least three years’ end-to-end payroll experience in a high-volume environment, strong data-migration and UK payroll compliance knowledge (AE and RTI), and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in end-to-end payroll in high-volume environments.
• Practical use of Sage 50 Payroll.
• Experience with data migration and full payroll implementation processes.
• Knowledge of UK payroll regulation AE and RTI.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Excel, Pivot Tables and Lookups.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day planning, coordination and delivery of payroll migration projects for specific franchisee branches.
• Cleansing, reconciliation and validation of payroll datasets prior to migration.
• Preparation of new payroll systems to a level ready for migration, including full configuration of pay elements and data.
• Providing training and support to branch employees during migration, including procedural documentation.
• Responding promptly to resolve queries and ensure deadlines are met.
• Reviewing existing branch-based payroll processes and making recommendations to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintaining knowledge of UK payroll legislation and best practice.
