Job summary

MultiStaff Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking a detail‑oriented Payroll Associate to deliver accurate payroll services for a range of clients. You will work with the Payroll Manager to process payrolls, handle onboarding of new clients, and respond to client queries while meeting strict deadlines.

The role supports onboarding of new payroll clients, ensures HMRC and pension compliance, and maintains confidentiality and high client care standards.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls accurately within deadlines.
• Prepare and submit RTI submissions, EPS, and pension contributions.
• Handle statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP), holiday pay, adjustments, and payroll corrections.
• Maintain accurate employee records (starters, leavers, amendments).
• Respond to client queries promptly and professionally.
• Liaise with Client Managers for clarifications or fee discussions.
• Support workload organization and team during peak times; provide holiday/emergency cover.
• Assist onboarding of new payroll clients and ensure compliance with HMRC, pension providers, and internal governance.
