Job summary

Portfolio Payroll Limited is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join their growing team. The role offers hybrid working, flexible hours and a focus on delivering accurate, timely payroll services for a portfolio of clients.

You will manage end-to-end payroll processing, handle starters and leavers, ensure HMRC submissions are accurate, and respond to client queries with a high level of service. Experience with UK payroll legislation is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous payroll experience, ideally within an accountancy practice or bureau environment.
• Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation.
• Experience processing multiple payrolls simultaneously.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Confident communication skills with both clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Managing end-to-end payrolls for a portfolio of clients
• Processing weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls
• Administering starters, leavers and payroll changes
• Calculating statutory payments and deductions
• Submitting payroll data to HMRC accurately and on time
• Handling client payroll queries and providing a high level of service
• Using SuperPay payroll software
