Job summary

TPF Recruitment is recruiting a Payroll Administrator for a fantastic firm of accountants based in Ashford. The role can be full time or part time, and the salary will depend on experience and working hours.

You'll look after payroll for a portfolio of clients, with opportunities to gain experience in bookkeeping, VAT, P11 Ds and CIS depending on your interests and experience. Responsibilities include processing client payrolls, handling starters and leavers, producing payslips and pension

Qualifications

• Experience processing client payrolls and payroll reports.
• Strong understanding of PAYE, National Insurance and statutory payments.
• Ability to work to deadlines and maintain accurate records.
• Experience in an accountancy practice or payroll bureau preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process client payrolls accurately and on time.
• Handle starters, leavers, pay changes and statutory payments.
• Prepare payslips, payroll reports and pension submissions.
• Respond to payroll queries and maintain accurate records.
• Support with bookkeeping, VAT, P11 Ds or CIS during quieter periods.
