Job summary

ParentPay Group seeks a Software Development Team Leader in Coventry to lead a multi-discipline Scrum team delivering payments products. You will oversee development, ensure quality, and drive agile practices across the team, reporting to the Software Development Manager.

You will line-manage team members, coach the Scrum process, and contribute to technical design while staying hands-on where needed to support feature work and refactoring efforts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience managing a team in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
• Experience leading a Scrum team in delivering software products.
• Strong background in software development on the Microsoft .Net platform.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Manage a Scrum team developing Payments software using agile methodologies.
• Grow the team's skills and capabilities.
• Ensure high quality output from developers and QA.
• Be hands-on to help the team meet delivery commitments.
• Run the Agile/Scrum process for the team and coordinate with the Software Development Manager.
• Stakeholder reporting and risk mitigation within the area of responsibility.
• Acquire domain knowledge of the products and business.
