Job summary

Vocative Consulting Ltd is seeking a Product Owner for Payments in the UK. This permanent hybrid role requires delivering payments-related features with Scrum teams and shaping the payments roadmap.

You will collaborate with customers and internal teams to prioritise features and justify business cases. The ideal candidate has prior Product Owner/Manager experience in a SaaS vendor, with payments expertise (cards processing preferred, mobile payments or direct debits also valuable).

Qualifications

Product Owner - Payments - Perm role - £60K - Hybrid (M4 Corridor)

An excellent opportunity for a Product Owner to join a thriving and growing software business, and take responsibility for a number of key initiatives around payments; both delivering features alongside Scrum teams, and contributing to the strategic roadmap.

You’ll be responsible for working on a number of key projects focussed on payments within the software solution. That will range from a key multi-year programme to a number of smaller deliverables. Additionally you’ll work closely with various teams and customers to contribute to the payments product roadmap, prioritising features and putting together business cases. You’ll work day to day with Scrum teams within the business to prioritise and deliver features, deliver the backlog and plan sprints, and ensure that features are fully integrated into the overall product strategy. .

You’ll need previous experience as a Product Owner or Manager in a SaaS vendor environment, as well as payments experience - cards processing ideally, but mobile payments, direct debits etc would be highly valuable.. Experience working in both B2B and B2C environments would be helpful, as would previous experience with web and mobile apps. Direct customer and stakeholder engagement is essential.

The role is hybrid - two days a week in the office in the M4 Corridor.

Salary is around £60K base.
