Job summary

Vocative Consulting is seeking a Product Owner for Payments to join a fast-growing SaaS business. You will own the payments product roadmap, prioritise features with Scrum teams, and build the business cases that justify new initiatives.

The role is hybrid, with two days per week in the Reading area, and offers an exciting career path as you help shape the strategic payments roadmap across B2B and B2C initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience as Product Owner/Manager in a SaaS vendor.
• Payments experience (direct debits, cards, or mobile payments).
• Ability to understand customer needs and translate to commercial features.
• Hybrid work arrangement: 2 days per week in Reading area.

Responsibilities

You'llberesponsibleforworkingonanumberofkeyprojectsacrossthewholesolution.Thatwillrangefromakeymulti-yearprogrammetoanumberofsmallerdeliverables.Additionallyyou'llworkcloselywithvariousteamsandcustomerstocontributetothepaymentsproductroadmap,prioritisingfeaturesandputtingtogetherbusinesscases.You'llworkdaytodaywithScrumteamswithinthebusinesstoprioritiseanddeliverfeatures,deliverthebacklogandplansprints,andensurethatfeaturesarefullyintegratedintotheoverallproductstrategy.

You'llneedpreviousexperienceasaProductOwnerorManagerinaSaaSvendorenvironment.ExperienceworkinginbothB2BandB2Cenvironmentswouldbehelpful,inparticulartheabilitytounderstandcustomerneedandputtogethercommercialbusinesscasesfornewfeaturestomeetthoseneeds.Experienceinpaymentswouldbeideal;directdebits,cards,ormobilepaymentsorotherpaymentsareaswouldworkwell.

Salary is around £65K base.
