Job summary

ParentPay Group is seeking an experienced Product Owner to own discovery, definition, delivery and performance of products in the Payments portfolio. You will work with stakeholders and agile teams to convert user needs into valuable software, prioritise ruthlessly, and ensure product readiness and success.

You will build an understanding of users, gather requirements, and translate them into detailed user stories while managing risk and driving continual improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a storyteller and requirement gathering.
• Strong understanding of user experience and customer-focused product design.
• Ability to translate business objectives into actionable user stories.
• Proven capability to manage product backlogs and drive delivery.

Responsibilities

• Translate product vision into clear, value-driven goals with the team.
• Maximise product value by aligning with customer, market and business needs.
• Gather and communicate requirements using user journeys and use cases.
• Own and manage the team backlog with appropriate estimation and timing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate requirements and enable delivery.
• Identify and mitigate product delivery risks together with delivery teams.
• Define success measures and monitor user behaviour to drive improvements.
• Manage the full product lifecycle from requirements to maintenance.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and prepare organisational readiness for new products.
