Job summary

ParentPay Group in Coventry is seeking an experienced Product Owner who will own discovery, definition, delivery and performance of products in the Payments portfolio. The role is based in our Coventry office and reports to the Development leadership.

You will translate user needs into clear requirements, work with Agile delivery teams and stakeholders, and drive value through prioritisation, delivery and continual improvement of our payment solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience as Product Owner or similar role in software/Payments.
• Strong understanding of customer and market needs and translating them into product requirements.
• Ability to prioritise, plan and communicate a product roadmap with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Translate product vision into clear, achievable goals for the team.
• Maximise product value by aligning with customer, market and business needs.
• Gather and communicate requirements using user journeys, use cases, and story mapping.
• Own and manage the team backlog with appropriate estimation and delivery alignment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive successful delivery.
• Identify and manage delivery risks and mitigate issues.
• Define success metrics and monitor performance for continuous improvement.
• Lead full product lifecycle from requirements to delivery, maintenance and compliance.
