Job summary

Skipton Building Society is seeking a Platform Manager – Identity to shape and evolve the Identity platform, a core capability enabling secure access for colleagues and members. You will lead a multidisciplinary engineering team and set the vision, roadmap and priorities.

You will drive reliability, security, governance and regulatory compliance while collaborating across engineering, architecture and business teams to maximise platform value. Hybrid working and a supportive culture.

Qualifications

• Experience leading platform or engineering teams within a complex environment.
• Proven ability to develop high-performing teams.
• Experience defining technology roadmaps aligned to strategic objectives.
• Strong stakeholder management across levels.
• Experience working in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the Identity platform roadmap aligned to business priorities.

• Own platform priorities balancing customer outcomes and stability.
• Ensure security, regulatory compliance and risk controls for Identity services.
• Improve resilience and reduce service disruptions.
