Job summary

Skipton Building Society is seeking a Platform Manager – Identity to shape and evolve our Identity platform, ensuring secure, resilient and scalable services that support colleagues and members as we transform technology.

You will lead a multidisciplinary engineering team, define the roadmap, and drive improvements across delivery, reliability and security to meet current and future business needs. Closing date 8 Aug 2026, 35 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Defining and evolving the Identity platform roadmap, aligned to business priorities and wider technology strategy.
• Leading and developing a multidisciplinary engineering team, creating an environment where people can learn, grow and perform at their best.
• Driving continuous improvement across delivery, reliability, quality and platform performance.
• Owning platform priorities and making informed decisions that balance customer outcomes, technical evolution and operational stability.
• Ensuring the platform operates securely and effectively whilst meeting regulatory, risk and compliance requirements.
• Managing operational performance, reducing service disruption and improving resilience across Identity services.
