Job summary

Vinted Pay is seeking a Senior Strategic Partnership Manager - Payments to own the external partner stack across the transaction lifecycle, optimize operating models, and drive commercial negotiations. You will partner with Business, Product, Engineering, Legal, and Finance to build business cases for fintech partnerships that deliver measurable impact.

This role requires a commercially aggressive, analytically sharp payments professional who thrives on structuring high-stakes partnership deals

Qualifications

• Experience in payments partnership management or payments business strategy in marketplaces/fintech.
• Deep understanding of Interchange-Plus pricing, card networks, acquiring rails, and auth-rate optimization.
• Strong negotiation skills for high‑value commercial agreements and complex vendor dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary commercial/strategic owner for Vinted Pay and Marketplace partner ecosystem incl. Banks, Processors, Payouts, KYC providers and card networks.
• Architect a multi-provider operating model with pricing benchmarks, RFI processes and contract management.
• Lead Quarterly Business Reviews; enforce SLAs and performance targets across partners.
• Evaluate local and emerging payment rails to expand conversion, reduce costs, and localize checkout.
• Leverage expertise in US/UK/EU acquiring card value chain to maximize authorisation rates.
• Own end-to-end cost-saving strategy across scheme fees, interchange, FX markups, and payout costs.
• Build business cases delivering measurable Revenue, GMV, cost impact for user problems.
